Big THANK YOU Shout-Out to all the Water Ski Clinic Participants & Volunteers! July 1st, 2011

RHI Sports would like to send a huge thank you to all our participants and volunteers who helped make this year’s Water Ski Clinic such a success.  Thankfully, the sun shined and the heat moved in, making the water perfect for some skiing!

On Wednesday, June 8th, 30 skiers beat the extreme heat and scorching sun with multiple trips around the lake and several applications of sunscreen.  The predicted weather report for Thursday of potential storms and cooler temperatures didn’t faze our 16 skiers for the day; the storms held off, and the cloudy sky was just what was needed to lessen the sting from the sunburns acquired the previous day.

With the help of 46 volunteers, the 2011 RHI Sports Water Ski Clinic was a huge success.  Special thanks to our generous boat donors, Pinecrest Marine and Jeff & Linda Richards, and jet ski donors, Jeff Silcox and Neil Clark; we couldn’t have done it without you.  Thanks again for a wonderful two days, and we can’t wait to see the familiar and new faces next year!
