activities, support and information through meetings, resources, peer networking,
and events Amputees, caregivers, and friends are welcome to attend.
This class teaches basic carbohydrate counting to inpatients and their caregives.
This group provides emotional support for caregivers of RHI patients in need.
This group is for RHI patients to provide support and share coping strategies
from within their rehabilitation experience and is open to patients in all treatment
Scheduled by recreation therapist or primary
therapists to assist patients to learn the needed reentry skills to function
effectively in the community. These are scheduled as needed.
When not in therapy, patients typically rest, visit with friends and family, or find some form of recreation.
Yes! Families are strongly encouraged to attend therapy sessions to observe and ask questions, especially those who will be the primary caregiver after discharge.
Patients have 3-5 hours of therapy a day during the week. Weekend therapy is reduced to allow you to rest and visit with family and friends.
Inpatient therapy begins at 8:30a.m.
