Jean Barske joined RHI in 2013 as Executive Director, Corporate and Affiliate Relations. Jean supports the administrative direction of the organization and enhance system interactions, relations and integration. She is responsible for providing administrative decision-making, leadership and strategic planning involving the efficient and productive use of personnel, material and financial resources for business development and affiliate operations on behalf of RHI. Provides efficient and purposeful integration of services with other areas and emerging delivery systems. Interfaces with senior leadership and front-line team members, executes organizational development strategy and drives integration initiatives across the system in order to optimize RHI potential and achieve strategic and operational objectives. Drives a wide variety of programs, policies and initiatives designed to build a best in class integrated statewide program. Includes significant management and oversight responsibility for daily operations as well as long-term direction, planning, and integration of affiliate operations. As of August 2018, Jean accepted the role as Chief Strategy and Development Officer. Jean will focus our goals of integrating all aspects of Programs both within and outside the RHI system, breaking down any barriers that would impede RHI being a “Destination of Choice” for all programs across the RHI continuum. In turn, Jean will support coordination of the strategic planning process. Jean will also continue overseeing the business development side of RHI, i.e., Liaisons, as well as the Acute Rehabilitation Units (ARUs).
Effective October 2018, Jean was promoted as Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer. In this role, Jean will be responsible for Strategic Program Outcomes and Business development, relationship management, coordination and measurement for all affiliate and outreach activity.
Jean has many years of healthcare leadership experience across many settings in the healthcare continuum. She graduated with a bachelors in Physiotherapy from the University of Durban-Westville, KwaZulu Natal South Africa, and obtained an MBA with a specialization in Healthcare management from the Indiana Wesleyan university.
