Julie Chow, MD December 15th, 2011

Julie Chow, MD joined IU School of Medicine in 2016 as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  She joined the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana as a staff physiatrist August 2016. She is currently serving as the Director of Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation at RHI.  She is affiliated with several hospitals in the Indianapolis area including Methodist Hospital, Eskenazi Health, Seton, and St. Vincent’s Hospital. 

Dr. Chow received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania-The Wharton School of Business and Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She completed residency training at Northwestern University Medical School, Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and fellowship training at Jackson Memorial Hospital/Jackson Health System,University of Miami.  She is a board certified specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Spinal Cord Injury Medicine.  She has expertise in the rehabilitation of spinal cord injury, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and spasticity management including botulinum toxin injections and intrathecal baclofen pump management.  

Dr. Chow is an active member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine, and Rehabilitation and Academy of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals.
