What job can I apply for?

  • RHI posts open jobs on the weekly Job Posting List. These are currently open positions and you may turn in an application for any of these jobs listed.
  • We hire people for a wide variety of jobs at RHI. However, we do not hire staff for the lab, cafeteria or linen services. These jobs are outsourced and are not employees of RHI.

What if I don’t see the job that I want on the list?

  • If you saw a job previously that isn’t currently on the list then this job has been filled or the manager is no longer taking applications for this job.
  • Applications are taken for open positions only, so if you don’t see a job open right now, please revisit our website at a future date.

How many hours are considered full time, part time or supplemental?

  • Full time employees are scheduled for 72 to 80 hours every two weeks
  • Part time employees are scheduled for 40 to 71 hours every two weeks
  • Supplemental employees are not in a regular schedule with set hours, they are used to fill in on an as needed basis

How can I get considered for a job?

  • You may fill out a paper application – please be sure to fill this out completely to ensure all of your work history and credentials are included.
  • You may submit a resume online via our website or email to resumes@rhin.com
  • You may fax your resume to (317) 329-2238.
  • You may submit an application in person at RHI. Applications are available from the receptionist in our main lobby between 8am and 9pm, Monday through Fri and 8:30am to 7:00pm on weekends.

How will I know that you got my application?

  • You will receive some type of contact from us. We will send you an email, a postcard or a letter to acknowledge your application or resume. Or, we may call you if you are selected for an interview.

How often can I fill out an application?

  • Applications are kept on file for 1 year so you do not have to complete multiple applications. You may review our website or job line for future positions and contact us about reviewing your previous application.

Do you hire students just for the summer?

  • Most of our jobs are ongoing positions and are not posted as summer only positions.
  • You may want to apply for a supplemental job which doesn’t have a regular ongoing schedule and pick up hours as you are available.
  • We do hire Student Nurse Externs and will notify local Schools of Nursing about position availability. The positions will be posted with other job listings.

What will I get paid for my job?

  • Wage offers are based on your experience related to the job in comparison to current employees already working at RHI in the same or similar position.

If I get a job offer what will I have to do before I start?

  • At the time of the job offer, the HR Recruiter will discuss your start date.
  • Your job offer is contingent on the following:
    • an employment verification of your past work history
    • a limited criminal history check
    • a social security number verification
    • successful completion of a pre-placement physical with the RHI employee health nurse.

What paperwork will I have to fill out and what documents will I need to show to start a job?

  • You will need to complete an I-9 form from the federal government. For this we will need to see documents that prove your eligibility for employment in the United States. Common documents used include a Driver’s License plus either a social security card or birth certificate, a US Passport, a Permanent Resident Card or Alien Registration Receipt Card.
