The X-TREME took 3rd place this year at the World Series, held in Rochester, NY. The team went undefeated throughout most of the week until they faced the previous champions, the Austin Blackhawks. The following day, the team lost their final game of the double elimination tournament to the Taiwan Homerun. The team was again successful in placing within one of the top three spots in the World this year.
The team took home several individual awards with pitcher Jared Woodard and his catchers Kyle Kennedy and Avery Hunsaker winning the PITCHER/CATCHER award for best contact percentage, Danny Foppiano winning second place on the all-defensive team and Demeili Wright taking 5th place on the all offensive team. These are all very high honors for the team.
The X-TREME thanks all the sponsors, supporters, volunteers and players for making this another fun year.
