Visions of Victory Gala A Huge Success! May 4th, 2014

On Saturday, April 19th, the RHI Sports Program hosted its 19th Annual Visions of Victory Gala event at the Crane Bay Event Center. As in years past, the theme of the event was casino night. Patrons of the event enjoyed 100+ silent auction items, champagne and beer raffles, and of course, legal and free casino gambling provided by the Broad Ripple Sertoma Club. During the dinner portion lead by the Emcee of the night, Karen Hensel from Wish-TV, guests heard speeches from RHI CEO, Dan Woloszyn, RHI Sports Director, Jake Patrick, and the 2014 Visions of Victory Award Winner, Jacqui Kapinowski (pictured above at the 2014 Boston Marathon). Jacqui was a Paralympian for the USA Curling team in 2010 and then in 2011 she competed in rowing, finally moving onto the sport of Para-triathlon. She is now preparing in hopes of representing our country in the 2016 Paralympics in Rio!
